Red Onions, Carrots & Daikon Radishes.
Pickled Red Onions
1 Red Onion, sliced
1/2 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
1/2 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
In a saucepan, bring vinegar, water, sugar and salt to a boil. Pour over red onions and let steep, cool to room temp. Refrigerate or enjoy.
Pickled Carrot & Daikon
1 Cup Carrot, matchstick
1 Cup Daikon, matchstick
1/2 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
1/2 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
Bring vinegar, water, sugar and salt to a boil and pour over carrots & daikon. Refrigerate or enjoy.
